For workforce networks and employers
A small cohort.
A clear division of work.
Partner with Ablevate to examine early hiring requirements in a small group of live roles. Start with an employer group you already know.
Proposed pilot
- Participants
- Normally three employers
One live or upcoming role each - Duration
- About 60 days per role,
adapted to hiring calendars - Cost
- No fee for the pilot
- Outputs
- A requirement review, written decisions, any agreed revisions, checks of the updated process, and a final summary
Use an existing employer relationship.
A workforce board, sector partnership, reentry network, or employer association can host the collaboration. The useful starting point is a group willing to examine how one role is screened.
A host can begin with one ready employer if there is a practical route to a small cohort. The pilot tests whether the review is useful and workable before either side discusses wider use.
Have one role but no network? An employer can also start the conversation directly.
Discuss whether the pilot fitsWho does what
Keep coordination small.
Make responsibility explicit.
The host
Name a coordinator, introduce willing employers, and help arrange the opening conversation. Review the findings with Ablevate at the end.
Ablevate
Prepare the review, lead the discussion, draft revisions, and document the employer’s decisions and the checks of the updated process.
The employer
Provide role materials, explain requirements, approve and apply changes, and help check the updated hiring process.
Before delivery
Agree the work
before starting it.
A short fit conversation comes first. If the pilot suits your needs, we agree the work, responsibilities, timing and handling of information in writing.
How much employer time is involved?
A 20-minute conversation can establish fit. The full review also needs time to supply materials, explain the role, approve changes, and check implementation. We agree that workload with you before starting.
What information is shared?
The role’s tasks, posting, application questions and screening instructions, with confidential details removed. No applicant records are needed. Before you share anything confidential, we agree who can access it and how it will be handled.
What if the requirements should stay?
Then they stay. The review explains why a requirement is needed; it does not assume that removing it is the right answer.
Can the findings be shared?
Only with permission. Taking part does not give Ablevate permission to publish your organization’s name, logo, quotations or case study.

Which employer group
do you have in mind?
A few lines about the group, a possible role, or the question you want to examine are enough. There is no application packet.
